We recognize that it can be difficult to get started competing in cybersecurity competitions.
Travel costs, incomplete teams, or knowledge uncertainty can make full participation in the NECCDC difficult. The Exhibition Team option provides a low-commitment way to participate only in the Qualifier round, offering valuable experience without the full ccdc and league member obligations.
An exhibition team is recommended for the following:
- Institutions new to NECCDC
- Two-year schools or community colleges
- Cannot field a full team roster
Requirements and Limitations
- $75 registration fee
- Participation only in the Beta test and Qualifier competition
- The team is not eligible to advance to Regional or Nationals
- All team members must be active college students
- Must be a Northeast institution
- Any combination of undergraduate and postgraduate students permitted
- Maximum of eight students per team
- No team coach required, only a primary point of contact
- Only one exhibition team allowed per institution
- Institutions that only have an exhibition team are not elegable to be a league member
- Students cannot be swapped or have overlap between the exhibition and a standard team
